For 90 years heart disease has been the #1 reason we lose our loved ones, with stroke at #5. Changing their rank is the goal of the American Heart Association (AHA) through contributions and events like their annual Heart Walk. HII-NNS supports the AHA’s efforts by participating in the annual Heart Walk. Last year approximately 1,100 walkers (employees, family members and friends) represented NNS. This year our company goal is to reach 1,500 to 2,000 walkers.
The Operations Division has developed Team “Save-A-Heart” for the upcoming Heart Walks to be held October 22nd and 29th. Please encourage your respective teams to register using the link provided.
We urged employees to register themselves, family and friends as soon as possible to receive a t-shirt while supplies last. Remember join the Operations’ Team “Save-A-Heart”.
Individuals wishing to participate should select the “team Member” radio button:
Select *Save-A-Heart* in the drop down box – *We are the very bottom*
If you have questions or would like for one of the team co-captains to speak to your respective teams, please feel free to contact us.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the various pre-Heart Walk events our division is supporting and hosting.
